Fiskars museum begins the Christmas celebrations at Hammarbacken with a Christmas opening event on the 27th of November 2021 at 11-16 o’clock. The villagers of the ironworks are busy preparing for Christmas. Gingerbread cookies are made in the bakery, and young helpers can also participate in the baking. In the office room you can write your own Christmas cards with a traditional fountain pen with the help of office clerk Laura Holmström. The traditional Christmas exhibition showcases how the Ironworks villagers celebrated Christmas and New Year’s. Mulled wine is also served the bakery, and entrance is free during the Christmas opening event. If necessary, changes might be made to the program.

Baking gingerbread cookies

Gingerbread cookies are made in the bakery, and young helpers can also participate in the baking. Mulled wine is also served in the bakery. No reservations!

Fee: Voluntary.

Christmas card workshop

In the office room you can write your own Christmas cards with a traditional fountain pen.

Place: The main building of the museum.

Fee: 3 €.
