The ironworks villagers are busy with various activities at Hammarbacken during the summer, and you are warmly welcome to join a guided tour to hear stories about the ironworks or take part in the daily chores.
On June 18th, a Midsummer-themed workshop will be held where traditional birch bark items are crafted. After Midsummer, baking takes place in the museum’s bakery on Wednesdays, and on Thursdays there will be a metal workshop where participants can make keychains. The participation fee for the workshops is €4–10.
Guided tours of the ironworks museum are available wednesday to sunday from June 11 to August 24:

The tour fee is €10/adult (includes reduced admission) or €5 with a museum card. Children under 18 enter free when accompanied by an adult.
