Lively at Hammarbacken & Opening of the Locomotive Shed, 11am to 5pm

On Sunday, June 14th at 11 a.m., the museum’s summer season opens with the Lively at Hammarbacken & Opening of the Locomotive Shed event.

Happy Walburgis!

Happy Walpurgis Night, everyone! The museum is open on Walpurgis Night, April 30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., but closed on May 1.

Easter at Hammarbacken 3-5.4.2026

During the Easter season, the museum is open from 3–5 April, 11:00–16:00. In the museum exhibition you can admire a large Easter tree decorated for the occasion.

After the winter break and some minor renovation work, the museum’s doors will open again on the first of March.
