For Schools and children
The Fiskars Museum and the Pohja Local History Archive offer ideal learning environments that support the children’s learning across different age groups. A visit to the Museum complements the learning process in many subjects and can be included in a syllabus. Learning through time travels and workshops is based on the use of all senses. One can hear, feel, taste and experience history on a personal level! Contact our Museum Educator and we can together plan a successful visit for your group to the museum.

Please observe that the group leader is always responsible for the group for the entire duration of the visit. Before visiting, it might be a good idea to remind pupils not to touch the museum objects in the exhibitions. Time travel, workshops, and other activities use items from a different collection which may be touched. The teacher can also visit the Museum in advance, and we are happy to provide handouts.
