A Slow Food festival is arranged in Fiskars 30th of September to 1st of October close to the museum. During Saturday we are baking traditional karelian pies in the museum bakery from 11am to 3pm. On the museum area you can also follow a work display in how to make biochar. Biochar can be used for example in the garden to improve the soil, to store nutrition or as ground cover.
During Saturday we have free entrance to the museum exhibitions!
